Geography
- Kukis are ethnic groups living across three countries – India, Myanmar, Bangladesh.
- They are primarily belongs to Christian, but traditionally they were not Christian.
- Kuki-chin language speaking ethnic groups are referred as Zo people, which includes Mizo, Kuki,Chin and Zomi people.
- Kukis called by different name - Lushai,Darlongs,Rokhums and Chins.
- Their livelihood mainly depended on Jhum Cultivation, Plain Cultivation and rearing livestock.
- They have healthy relationship with nature.
- The art of storytelling culture, beliefs, tales, riddles, myths, fables, and poems with no written language is known as folklore. Kukis protects and preserve their culture through folklore.
